What helps us heal? What strengthens relationships?
Why do some challenges bring us closer together while others leave us feeling disconnected and alone?
These questions have shaped much of my life.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, relationship therapist, author, and speaker, I have spent more than two decades studying the intersections of faith, relationships, emotional health, and personal growth. My work combines evidence-based approaches—including attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method principles, applied positive psychology, and trauma-informed care—with a deep belief that growth and healing are possible for every person.
But long before I became a counselor, I was simply trying to understand life, relationships, faith, and what it means to become the person God created us to be.
Much of what I write and teach comes from that intersection of professional training and personal experience. I have learned that meaningful change grows through honest self-reflection, courage, grace, and our willingness to stay connected—to God, to ourselves, and to those we love.
Through counseling, writing, speaking, and teaching, my hope is to help others discover greater clarity, healing, resilience, peace, and connection. Whether I am sitting with a client, speaking to an audience, or writing a book, the goal is the same: helping people move toward wholeness and create healthier, more meaningful relationships.
My first book, Not Meant to Be Alone: How to Find Peace and Connection as Imperfect Helpmeets in God's Perfect Plan, will be published by Cedar Fort Publishing & Media in February 2027.
When I'm not counseling or writing, you'll often find me spending time with family and friends, reading, working on a home project, serving in my church, or thrifting. I believe some of life's best lessons come through creating, serving, and having the faith to keep moving forward, even when the path isn't fully clear.
Thank you for stopping by. I'm glad you're here.
